Caleb graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Social Studies from Harvard University. He spent a decade working for the Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Caleb spearheaded many of the Agency’s international initiatives and was part of the founding teams of CAA’s presence in India and the Middle East.

Having found an innate connection with the country, Mr. Franklin decided to tell Indian stories with global resonance. He established Matter Entertainment. A creative talent agency and production company, Matter represents sought-after storytellers like Dibakar Banerjee, Farah Khan, Gurmeet Singh, Amish Tripathi, among other talented directors, screenwriters, and authors.

Matter is the associate producer on one of the highest-budgeted films on Netflix with Dibakar Banerjee, the supervising producers on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s OTT debut – Heeramandi, and has also set up the SVOD deal for the blockbuster biopic Gangubai. Currently, Matter has four shows in production with premium OTT platforms – Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, HBO Max, and is setting up the Shiva Trilogy with a major international production company.

Additionally, Caleb has also founder of a Web3 platform for the world’s leading creators, brands and IPs – HeyHey Global. In his personal time, Caleb is a board member of the Ron Brown Scholar Program and serves on the founding committee of Soho House Mumbai. He currently lives in Mumbai with his wife Anisha and their dog Morty.
