With 30 plus years of experience in film & entertainment business, Shobha Sant has nurtured her creative and commercial skills alongside industry stalwarts. Currently, as the CEO, she’s leading the vision for Creativeland Studios – Cinema and Originals. The company is set out with a vision of taking Indian content global. Their first feature is ready for release this year (2026).

Previously, as Senior VP (Head of Content Alliances) at Jio Studios, she led the company’s initiatives, making 150 films, to further enhance Jio’s consumer content offering in the entertainment space. She led the charter for films, having commissioned 150+ feature films including cinematic gems like Laapata Ladies, Storyteller, Mrs. Article 370, Baramulla, amongst others.

Prior to that, she held a key position as CEO at one of India’s foremost creative forces, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bhansali Productions where her responsibilities included building & sustaining associations with Film Studios, creative talent and relevant industry bodies. Her role extended to strategizing the company’s marquee releases that comprised of Padmavat, Bajirao Mastani etc. and optimally monetizing revenue platforms.

She has also been founder of Talent Mantra, one of the earliest Talent Management Agencies in India, managing Actors, Directors and Writers. As an obvious growth trajectory, soon diversified into packaging film content which led to Producing.
