Binky is a writer, director, and producer based in Mumbai. She has produced over 200 commercials for leading brands across the globe. She was the associate producer on the international feature film cum mini-series Iron Road — a co-production with China and funded by the CBC — starring Peter O’Toole, Sam Neill, and Tony Leung Ka Fai. Binky wrote and directed the docu-feature Dalai Lama – The Birth of a God which aired on the Discovery Channel and numerous other networks worldwide. Binky is the co-writer of The Ashram, a thriller-drama starring Sam Keeley and Oscar winner Melissa Leo, directed by Ben Rekhi, and produced by Sikhya Entertainment. 

Binky has written and developed multiple projects both in the feature and series space. She is currently in development for a crime-drama series and a heist-drama feature script both with leading production houses. She recently adapted a book series to be pitched U.K. market and her feature script Collateral, a financial thriller feature, is under option with a leading production house.

Other experience includes Manager to Mr. Aamir Khan and International Sales for Aamir Khan Productions. Binky is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre (Director’s Lab, Alliance Atlantis Film Resident Programme).
